The building is situated on a hilly site, allowing for access to a parking garage under the building at grade.  The energy efficient building complies with Enterprise Green Communities, as well as DC’s new standards for the Green Area Ratio and storm water management and was built so it fits in with the single family residential neighborhood, despite being fours stories tall not including the garage. This building provides a home for seniors who make less than 30% of the Average Median Income in Washington, DC, meeting a vital need in the neighborhood. 

In addition to the residential units, the building has a leasing office, a living room with a fireplace, as well as a yoga studio overlooking a rear plaza / garden.
