The owners of this tidy rambler in a great neighborhood wanted to add a second story that would provide four bedrooms for their growing family. This would allow the first floor to be reconfigured for a gourmet eat-in kitchen. The Owners wanted their house to remain in scale with the surrounding houses and not be perceived as a "McMansion."
