Miner Feinstein is working with the Montgomery County Revenue Authority to upgrade the 60 year old airpark
so that it can serve all users, including disabled. Formally, the two story space only had a set of atrium
stairs that allowed a patron to walk from the parking lot to the runway. With the addition of a wheelchair
lift, the user now can not only access the runway but also the second floor cafe. In addition, the restrooms
were also made accessible, and finishes were upgraded throughout to keep this classic building functioning for
another sixty years and beyond.
