Miner Feinstein has been hired to re-purpose the Washington Times Office Building into the Village Academy
Charter School, serving children who have both learning and emotional disabilities. Class sizes are smaller than
a typical school, and multipurpose and vocational classrooms help provide a variety of educational opportunities.
In order to meet the needs of the school, the existing structure has been completely reconfigured, while
maintaining the existing elevators, stairs, and restrooms.
