Renovation of multi-family building in Silver Spring, MD


MFA was contracted to provide corridor and dwelling unit renovation design services for the Alexander House Apartments in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Working with the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, the goal of the project was to maintain quality affordable housing options for Montgomery County residents while providing a modern, efficient apartment building that provides all of the amenities and conveniences that are available in the new apartment buildings being erected in this section of Montgomery County.

MFA teamed with KGD Architects and their consultants, limiting our role providing full service architectural design and documents for all of the dwelling units as well as the unit corridors above the 2nd floor. This project is complete.
