Addition and Renovation in Alexandria, VA

Miner Feinstein Architects was hired to provide concepts for an addition and renovation of an existing house in Alexandria, VA. The renovation consisted of enlarging and reconfiguring the existing kitchen and adding a new family room off the rear of the house. Upstairs, the new family room footprint becomes a new master bedroom and bathroom. The existing façade, beautiful and filled with character, was left untouched. The addition attempted to complement that façade.
